Side Note: Michael Bay's company, Platinum Dunes has made a deal with Indonesian filmmakers Jose Poernomo and Rizal Mantovani to direct this thriller. Ted Field and Scott Kroopf will exec produce along with Roy Lee and Doug Davison of Vertigo Ent. The project is based on an idea by Radar executive Sean Gorman, who further developed it with Poernomo and Mantovani.

Gembar-gembor The Well emang udah lama banget kedengeran.. Dulu, ada yang bilang klo The Well ini adalah remake dari Jelangkung.. Ternyata, berita itu salah besar..! The Well ini adalah film baru yang bakal digarap sama duet Jose Purnomo dan Rizal Mantovani.. Genrenya adalah horror thriller..
Tentang remake Jelangkung, unfortunately, proyek itu gagal.. Gara2 gx ada kesepakatan sama Miramax buat nge-remake film horror yang jadi box-office di Indonesia itu..

Tapi, ngomong2, jadwal rilis yang katanya mid 2004, atau paling lambat akhir 2004, kyaknya gx kesampean.. Jangan2 bakal diundur lagi sampe 2005..?! Y ud, tungguin aja deh, The Well..
